("HeySquib," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Squib platform ("Squib," the "Service," or the "Application"), a social media management tool that helps businesses and individuals manage their online presence through content scheduling, publishing, and analytics. HeySquib values the privacy of its users and is committed to protecting the information we collect. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information we gather, how we use it, the circumstances under which we may share it, and the rights of users regarding their personal data. By using Squib, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. Our service is strictly intended for users located within the United States, and we do not allow international users to access or utilize our platform. We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, and any changes will be communicated via email notification. Continued use of our services following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

When you create an account or interact with our Service, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number (if provided), billing information processed via Stripe, and any other contact details you choose to share. This data enables us to provide you with access to the Service, process transactions, and communicate with you effectively. Additionally, we may collect any content you provide, including communications and feedback, to enhance your user experience and improve our offerings.

With explicit written consent from our clients, our service accesses social media accounts to:

• Schedule and publish posts on behalf of clients
• View post performance metrics
• Manage client account settings as authorized
• Access only the minimum data necessary for content management

We do not use any social media data for AI training, model development, or any purpose beyond providing our content management services. All social media content remains the property of the respective platforms and users. We access this data solely to perform the services our clients have explicitly authorized.

Squib uses TikTok Login Kit to allow you to authenticate using your TikTok account. When you choose to log in or connect your account via TikTok, we collect the following information as authorized by you and permitted by TikTok's API:

• Your TikTok display name
• Your TikTok profile picture (avatar URL)
• Your TikTok unique user identifier (open ID)
• Your TikTok username

This information is used solely to create and authenticate your account within Squib, display your profile information, and provide our content management services. We do not sell, rent, or share your TikTok data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do not use TikTok data for surveillance, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing the Squib Service. When you disconnect your TikTok account from Squib, we will delete your TikTok-sourced data from our active systems. You may request deletion of your TikTok data at any time by contacting info@heysquib.com.

We automatically collect certain information about your usage of the Service, including pages viewed, features used, time spent on the platform, and interaction patterns. Additionally, we gather device-related data such as IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, and mobile network information. We also use Google Analytics to track usage patterns, traffic sources, user behavior metrics, and geographic locations based on IP addresses. This information helps us improve the Service and tailor our offerings to better meet user needs.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, analyze usage patterns, and improve our Service. These technologies help enhance your experience by enabling personalized interactions and seamless navigation. We comply with X's Developer Agreement and Policy, TikTok's Developer Terms of Service and Data Use Policy, and all other applicable platform developer agreements. We do not claim ownership of any content from X, TikTok, or any other connected platform. We do not sell, redistribute, or share platform API access or platform content with third parties beyond what is necessary to provide the Squib Service. For TikTok specifically, we use TikTok Login Kit and Content Posting API only for the purposes disclosed in this Privacy Policy and as authorized by users. We do not store TikTok user data beyond what is necessary to operate the Squib Service, and we comply with TikTok's data deletion and retention requirements. Clients requiring agency-scale or government-related services must subscribe to appropriate Enterprise-level access tiers as required by each platform.

We may share information in response to legal requests, to protect our rights or property, and during corporate transactions such as mergers or acquisitions. Additionally, information may be shared with your explicit consent when necessary for service delivery or compliance with regulatory requirements.

We typically respond to user requests within 14 business days. For requests related to social media content deletion, we will comply within 24 hours as required.
